Old Dogs Deserve All the Cuddles! Jacksonville Beach Family & Pet Photography Session

Here it is, a NEW YEAR already! My neglect for blogging over the past few months is a reflection of the very busy Fall photography season we experienced. I am incredibly grateful for all the wonderful families, individuals, and pets we had the opportunity to serve during the tail-end of this very sobering year.

One such family, was the Rhodes family, featured in this post. This very sweet family of five, included Kirby, a 13 year-old golden retriever mix and Gabby, a 6 year-old, sassy golden-doodle. When the Rhodes family contacted me, they had one wish – that their pups be included in their family photos. It was particularly important to capture Kirby, their sweet old-man pup. I frequently receive this request, and for good reason! It’s tough to imagine a day when our furry family members are no longer with us, which is why there is no time like the present to document their special place in our lives. Here are a few favs from our December photo shoot with the Rhodes family.

In addition to printing artwork to share with her family, I had the opportunity to collaborate with my client to re-purpose her beautiful reclaimed wood frames with new printed artwork from her session. The result is a contemporary update to a classic set of frames.
